Blogging tonight about degrees vs radians:

Tonight check out these blogs for a summary: Mickey, Emilie, Joey, and Corey. Also, Happy belated e-day! Yes there is such a thing! I thought it would be on Feb 18, in other words, 2.18, but apparently, I do not know how much e is, for it is 2.718. And so I missed e-day. It was yesterday, Feb 7th!

Tonight's bloggers!

The people who are blogging for Sci math tonight are Donald, Arnold, and Joey. Make sure you read at least one of these (all 3 would be even better to compare!) and then comment on at least one of them. Remember "Whoah great post dude" does NOT count!

Some handy programs for your TI calculator

These programs might come in handy, and they are all based on the same 3 programming steps:
  1. Get the calculator to prompt you for some variable(s), (PROMPT)
  2. Tell the calculator what calculations to do to those variable(s), and where to store the result, (STORE)
  3. Tell the calculator to tell you the result. (DISPLAY)
Here are my programs for distance between 2 points, solutions to a quadratic equation, and distance between a point and a line:

Distance between points (A, B) and (C, D)

Solutions to quadratic equation ax² + bx + c = 0

Distance between line Ax + By + C = 0 and point (M, N)

If you have written any programs, don't hesitate to share them on your blog!
